I have a question about this contest and these competitions in general. According to the FAQ prize money will only be awarded if the winning entry receives 500 or more votes. Does this refer only to the audience choice award, or to the critics award as well? Because based on the number of votes so far it seems unlikely that anything is going to get 500 votes. |

Yeah, I’ve been wondering this also… I imagine that the guidelines will be changed??? Can the Admin. tell us anything yet? |

the iphone contest is looking rigged… if you vote down on ‘thinkprod’ video, it still goes up… his video is horrible, you can see the green outlining the characters and see that it was shot on a green screen… |

Hey Everyone – no worries. The number of votes shown is the TOTAL number of up and down votes – the goal being to reach 500 total of course. Also, don’t worry about the 500 votes. We are in the process of refiguring how popular winners are determined – afterall, we have to have a winner out of all of these great videos! And the critics choice is not based on number of votes. I’ll send more details out to everyone who has opted-in for emails after the holidays! |
